She may only be 19 years old, but Sherry Lavelle is a very talented, driven singer / songwriter with many credits to her name.
Her music is fun, trendy and classy modern young adult contemporary with incredible musicianship and intelligent lyrics. She has teamed up with San Diego based veteran singers/ songwriters, Margaret McClure and Andy Machin.
Originally from Calgary, Canada, Lavelle now lives in Southern California to completely focus on her music career. She often performs at venues in the San Diego area.
Lavelle's new music is getting great reviews from critics. Four of her new songs have been licensed by thirteen shows for the MTV network including "My Super Sweet Sixteen" and "Making the Band" in 2007. Lavelle has also signed a non-exclusive publishing deal with "Original Source Music" for film, television and commercial placement for five of her songs.
